Near Foundation เปิดตัว Chain Signatures ซึ่งเป็นโปรโตคอลที่จะให้ผู้ใช้ยืนยันธุรกรรม (sign transaction) บนบล็อกเชน third-party ได้จากบัญชี Near โดยเปิดใช้งานบน testnet แล้ว และคาดว่าจะเปิดตัวบน mainnet ภายในต้นเดือนพฤษภาคม

Chain Signatures ขับเคลื่อนโดยเครือข่าย multi-party computation (MPC) แบบ decentralized และรับรองความปลอดภัยโดย validator ของ Near

Chain Signatures ช่วยให้บัญชีของ Near รวมถึง smart contract สามารถยืนยันธุรกรรมสำหรับบล็อกเชนใด ๆ ได้ โดยสามารถควบคุมตัวเลข address บนบล็อกเชนทั้งหมด ทำให้มี use case ใหม่ ๆ สำหรับ Decentralized Finance (DeFi) และในอนาคตจะได้รับความปลอดภัยเพิ่มจาก EigenLayer ด้วย

ปัจจุบัน Chain Signatures รองรับ Ethereum, Cosmos chains, Dogecoin, Bitcoin และ XRP Ledger ส่วนในอนาคตจะรองรับ Solana, TON Network, Polkadot และอื่น ๆ นอกจากนี้ ยังมี “Multichain Gas Relayer” ที่กำจัดความจำเป็นที่ต้องมี native gas token ของเชนอื่นเพื่อทำธุรกรรม แต่ผู้ใช้สามารถใช้ Near หรือโทเคน NEP-141 เพื่อจ่ายค่า gas ของทุกเชนได้ Reference: [theblock](https://www.theblock.co/post/284678/near-foundation-chain-signatures)
