Enter to Start recently held the “Community Meetup: Ordinal Thailand First Meeting” on January 20, 2024. This event focused on sharing knowledge about Ordinals, including introducing exciting Ordinal projects.
The event started with an interview video of Pakdo (@pakdo66), a renowned Ordinal user, who explained what Ordinals are, starting from the basics of data inscription to the development of Bitcoin Ordinals that made it easier for newcomers to understand.
Then, Trakan (@concordefi), co-founder of Enter to Start, and Teelek (@tteesrtweet), an Ordinal OG, discussed the various opportunities in Ordinals and highlighted interesting projects.
Teelek noted that opportunities include four factors: having more than 4x upside, low risk/downside, potential for growth, and the most important one – ahead of the curve (getting in before the majority). He advised trying to think outside the box, seeking new opportunities, and following news from multiple sources. Relying on major news outlets means being late to the game.
He emphasized that, in the Ordinal space, many players are coming from China so it is hard to source information from Chinese channels to seize opportunities early. Trakan added that in some cases, it might be necessary to join Chinese Discord servers to buy ODC from Chinese users for maximum upside. Even if the market seems difficult to enter, the effort is worthwhile as it represents the best opportunity.
Teelek shared tips on selecting projects by observing which ones are used by influencers in the crypto world. However, the key is to get involved while still among the minority, not after everyone knows about it and has joined. He suggested that most funds initially go into coins in the MEME, DeFi, and Infrastructure category.
Moreover, Teelek recommended interesting investment projects like LiquidiumFi, Omnisat, and Dogenal, which are DRC-20 tokens like Dogi and Wufi, still emphasized, “This is not investment advice” and “Do Your Own Research (DYOR)”.
The event concluded with Cudo (@rektcudo), one of the few Taproot Wizards, introducing the Taproot Wizards project, which successfully raised $7.3 million, and the Quantum Cats NFT collection.
After the event, a networking session allowed participants to exchange ideas and foster Ordinals future collaborations as the same as this meeting, full of Ordinals enthusiasts.
Enter to Start would like to extend our gratitude and invite everyone to follow our social media for an upcoming project on the next Community Meetup. See you again soon!
